Darwin D. Crawford Sr., 48, passed away on Saturday, August 2nd, 2014 due to complications after an auto accident. A wake is currently in progress TODAY, Tuesday August 5th, at Old Eagle Shield Center in Browning, Mt. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th, at 11:00am, at the Church on the Rock in Browning with a burial to follow at Willow Creek Cemetery.

Darwin was born on June 24th, 1966 in Browning, Mt to Roy “Roger” Crawford Sr. and Mary Crawford. Darwin grew up and attended school in Browning. After graduating from Chemawa Indian School he worked as a firefighter with the forest service. He later went on to work as an Auto mechanic which was his life’s passion.

Darwin loved hotrods, antique cars and NASCAR. Some of his favorite things to do were spending time with his family at cookouts and get-togethers. His family would be the first to attest for his big appetite and love for Chili, but what he really loved most in life was spending quality time with his three sons and three grandsons. He was very proud father and grandfather.

Darwin is survived by his mother Mary; sons Patrick(Virginia) After Buffalo of Great Falls, Darwin(Jeaneana) Crawford Jr of Browning, Colvin Crawford of Browning; brothers Roy(Carrie) Crawford Jr. of Great Falls, Larry(Becky) Crawford of Browning; sisters Karen Crawford of Great Falls, Deen(Zack) Stanley of Farmington, NM, Dette (Darren) Jacobs of Lawrence, KS, Carol(Gabriel) Yellow Owl of Great Falls, and three grandsons Peyton, Anthony, and Zane After Buffalo of Great Falls.

He was preceded in death by his Father Roy “Roger” Crawford Sr; Sister Ella Crawford.
