David Deshner Sr. passed away of natural causes November 8, 2014, at a local care facility to be with our Lord and Savior. A memorial service will take place on November 15, at 11:00 a.m., at Northwest Family Fellowship Church.

David was born in New Deal, Mt on August 4, 1939. He spent his younger years in Neihart where he had to walk up the hill both ways to school until the family moved to Great Falls where he later met his beautiful bride of 55 years and raised their family. From this union their lives were blessed with 5 sons. He was employed as an auto body mechanic for 27 years. He enjoyed bowling, baseball, coaching his kids in baseball, (most of the time) and most recently playing pool with friends and family. He was an avid sports fan of the Greenbay Packers, Boston Celtics and Atlanta Braves. His favorite things to talk about were the salvation message, the Bible, and politics.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons, David Jr, Duke (Chris), Doug (Joni Dee), Bill (Christine), and Duane (Tammy); 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 7 siblings, and a great list of other family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, 5 siblings, and his daughter Delores.

For the people that knew David, he was a man after God's heart. He truly liked to tell people of the salvation message. Per his wishes, we do not mourn his passing but rather celebrate his passing into the kingdom of Heaven.
