Delores “Dee” Walden, 81, of Great Falls, passed away on September 10, 2014 of natural causes. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home and burial will take place at Manchester Cemetery.

Delores was born on July 25, 1933 in Harrah, Washington to George and Mary Kanzler, one of four children. She was raised and educated in White Swan, WA. In June of 1958 Delores was married to her love, Robert “Bob” Walden. They were blessed with 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2008.

Delores worked at CM Russell High School for 34 years and volunteered her personal time to working with children in programs such as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America. One of her great passions was gardening. Other hobbies included sewing, cooking for her family and caring for her dogs and cats.

Survivors are daughters, Shannon & Barbara Walden; son, John Walden; special niece, Bettie Lee Holzberger; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her spouse and parents, those who have preceded Delores in death include two brothers and one sister.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Great Falls Animal Shelter, C/O HUG Project, PO Box 5021, Great Falls, MT 59403-5021.
