I knew Dorothy in college.  She would hang out with John and I while we practiced music.  She was a kind and enjoyable person.

I went to school with Dorothy all the way through high school We were in band and shared several trips to music festivals. She had an infectious sense of humor and was very good natured. Enjoyed getting together with her at reunions. Deepest sympathy to the family.

Dorothy and I were classmates all through grade school and high school in Dillon.  She was always cheerful and greeted everyone with her smile.  She was a kind soul and I am so sorry to hear of her passing.  May she rest in peace.  May God Bless you Dorothy.

I met Dorothy Gaines in 1984 when I was in high school I walked up to their door was about 7 o’clock at night and asked him if they like their driveway shoveled and occurred in the firewood for them indoors he was always so nice
She paid extremely well back in 1984 it was $20 just to carry in their firewood And shovel the sidewalk and driveway and as I got to know them before I left for school they always invited me over for pizza to have with him 25 to 35 she was an amazing person Mom I’ll miss her Ron
