Dorothy Emma Mullins, born on February 19, 1935 in Great Falls, MT, passed away on January 27, 2018 at the Hospice House of Great Falls at the age of 82. She is preceded in death by her husband, Noel Myers, her parents, and numerous siblings. Survivors include three siblings; Howard Gurnsey, Marie Galvin, and Lenora Swartz; her children Mary Gionta (Jon), Doug Mullins (Renee), Pamela Mullins; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Dorothy had been a dedicated, hard worker all her life. From a young age she learned the values of pulling your own weight and helping others, especially in her large family setting in Vaughn. As she got older, she enjoyed doing homecare for the elderly and being a mother of three. She finished off her working years at the El Comedor as the head chef for over 20+ years. After retiring, she focused her time on learning how to use computers, volunteering, traveling, and spending time with family.
Dorothy had a lot of great accomplishments throughout her life; some of her favorites included her crafts she made and sold at shows, her vocational training, and her cooking and baking skills. She was most proud of her numerous poems that had been published, her renowned relationship with God at the Salvation Army Church, her family, and her time with her grandchildren teaching them how to do all sorts of things!
Dorothy left us too soon, but went with a heart full of love, joy, peace, and happiness. Having her family surround her and comfort her made her journey from this world a little easier. Dorothy has been inurned at Highland Cemetery. Dorothy asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Great Falls Rescue Mission. No services are planned, per her request.
