Dorothy Lee Sutton

A Celebration of Life for Dorothy will be held on Sunday, August 2 at the Lewistown Park at 11:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. 

Dorothy Lee Sutton, 82, of Great Falls, MT passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020 of natural causes.

Dorothy was born on July 16, 1937 in Lewistown, MT to parents Marion Stewart Russell and Florence Turner Kilgore. In 1957 she married Thomas Wilson Sutton III in Great Falls. Together they had two sons and one daughter during the beautiful 17 years they shared.

Dorothy spent many years working as a Housekeeper at Benefis Health Center where she retired from in 2020. In her free time she enjoyed crochet, putting together puzzles, working in the flower garden, drawing, and painting. Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. Her life amongst us will be missed.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Thomas Sutton IV, Timothy Sutton; daughter, Tammy Thomason; sisters, Jeanie Kolste of Manhattan, MT, Linda Enslow of Nampa, IA, Patty Thompson of Vancouver, WA; brothers, Robert McNeil of Lewistown, MT, Ronald Russell of Highwood, MT.

Additional survivors include grandchildren, Savanah Hanson, Carissa Jean Mason, Sydnee Thomason, Shelby Thomason; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by her sisters, Judy Audette, Joan Wood; and by her brother, Roy Russell.
