Elwood Lester Richards, 88 of Simms, passed away May 12, 2015 of natural causes. No services will be held. He was born September 19, 1926 in Cascade, Montana. Elwood was a Marine stationed on the USS Missouri for the surender of Japan. He later took Turkey's Ambassador to Turkey. He was honorably discharged on July 31, 1946.
