Glenn LaValle Driscoll, 88, of Great Falls passed peacefully in a Taylorsville, UT Medical facility on March 7th 2015. A funeral service will be held in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home at 11:00am on Saturday, March 14th. Burial to follow at Highland Cemetery. Glenn was born on July 22, 1926 in Great Falls, Montana to Jesse Christiansen and Margaret Skinner. Glenn graduated from Gt. Falls High School in 1944 and joined the Navy during WW2. Upon his military discharge, Glenn went to work for the U.S. Postal Service in Great Falls and retired from the post office after 32 years in 1979. He married Belva Skaw on June 28, 1953 in Hamilton, Montana. They were sealed in the Cardston LDS temple in 1967. Glenn served faithfully in many callings in the LDS church, including bishop, Stake President's counselor, Stake Patriarch and Temple Sealer. He served an LDS mission in Nauvoo, Illinois with his wife from 1990-91. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years; his daughter, Tara (Todd) Hansen; four grandsons, Christopher (Jenny), Eric (Maria), Andrew (Ivy) and Bradley (Carly) Hansen and six great-grandchildren he dearly loved. He is also survived by a brother, John (Diane) Emmens in California. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Shirley Driscoll and Margaret King.
