Gregory William Guy, 67 of Great Falls, passed away June 8, 2015. A Memorial Service to honor a life well lived will be held Monday, June 15th at 1:00pm in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home with Drew Kent officiating.

On May 7, 1948, Harry and Arlene Guy welcomed baby boy Gregory into the world in Conrad, Montana. He was raised in north central Montana and graduated from Great Falls High. At the age of 23, Greg enlisted in the US Army. After two years of service he transitioned into the Army National Guard and served an additional 3.5 years as a vehicle driver.

Upon an Honorable release from the military, Greg worked in sales for Gamble Robinson, as a manager for UHaul, and finally as a custodian for Great Falls Public Schools. In his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors of Montana by fishing, camping and motorcycling. He also had a love for model trains, collecting trains of all models and sizes.

Although Greg’s first marriage ended in divorce, he was blessed to find lasting love with his second wife, Gertrude “Trudy” Smith. They shared 22 happy years together before his passing. He would be the first to say to Trudy, “I love you more.”

Greg leaves behind his loving wife, Trudy Guy of Great Falls; and brother, Rodney (Lou Ann) Guy; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Arlene; and brother, Gary Guy.
