James Anthony Lawrence, 51 of Great Falls, passed away on January 19, 2015 of a sudden illness. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 22 at 1:00pm in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Ferguson officiating.

He was born September 20, 1963 in Phillipsburg, MT. At a young age his family moved to Great Falls and he later graduated from CMR High School. He enjoyed playing basketball, listening to music, drawing, stock car racing, fishing and spending time with friends. He loved the outdoors. James was known for his big heart and his love for his family, which surpassed all else.

He is survived by daughters, Brandy and Michelle Lawrence; father, James Dubois Sr.; mother, Yvonne Lawrence; sister, Debbe (George) Cozino; brothers, Eddie, David, Dennis Lawrence and James (Patti) Dubois Jr.; special aunt, Sylvia St Marks Sangrey; as well as grandchildren, Brandon Lawrence and Briahnna Fork; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Those who have preceded him in death include mother, Florence Dubois; biological father, Charles Lawrence; grandmother, Mary Johnson; and aunt, Laura St Marks.
