James Lee Obituary

James Michael Lee, 48, of Great Falls passed away on April 8, 2020. A private Graveside Service will be held at Manchester Cemetery.

James was born on March 15, 1972 in Salt Lake City, UT. He was raised by his mother, Darlene Briscoe in Bountiful, UT, graduating from Viewmont High School. He went on to attend culinary school in Salt Lake, and then proceeded to work as a chef for most of his life. That was his calling. He loved to cook. It was his passion in life, and even had an “award winning” chili recipe that he was quite proud of.

His family meant everything to him. James was a great father who loved his children more than life itself. An amazing and supportive husband with a great sense of humor, who was quite witty, and too many good stories to pick from. Above all else he was always willing to help anyone who need it.

He loved watching sports and listening to music, but also enjoyed being outside, spending time fishing and camping. James had a natural drive to learn, he read quite a bit, and had a “books” worth of music trivia and “useless” knowledge to share.

James will be missed by many, but most of all, his wife, Tamara Lee of Great Falls; children, Taliesin Jones, Byron Lee, and Darlene Lee, all of Great Falls; mothers-in-law, Pam and Brigitte Jones.

He now goes on to be with his mom, Darlene Briscoe.
