Janet Morley, 91, of Great Falls, passed away peacefully at Peace Hospice on October 13, 2015.

A public visitation will be held at Croxford Funeral Home in the Rose Room Chapel, Friday, October 16, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Her funeral service will be Saturday, October 17 in the Rose Room Chapel of Croxford Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Ken Waag officiating. A burial committal service will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery.

Janet was born on January 29, 1924 in Deposit, New York to George and Emily (Post) Baker. She and her four siblings were raised in Waverly, NY. Janet graduated from Waverly High School in 1942.

On March 25, 1943, Janet and Willard Morley were united in marriage, and were blessed with; daughter, Linda and sons, Cal and Scott. Janet and Willard shared nearly seventy years together, before Willard’s passing in 2012.

Janet was a homemaker and mother; working hard for her family came first. She also worked for Westinghouse and Grant’s Department Store in Elmira, NY. In her free time she enjoyed macramé and crocheting.

She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Linda (Gordon) Carey, of Great Falls; sons, Cal (Gail) Morley of Great Falls; Scott (Lisa) Morley of Brighton, CO; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in New York.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, two brothers and two sisters; and her beloved husband.

Janet’s family suggests memorials in her name to Peace Hospice, 1101 26th St S, Great Falls, MT 59405, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
