Jeff Bergstad, 57, of Great Falls, passed away just as the new year started on Friday, January 1, 2021.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 8th at 2:00 PM in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home.

Born December 6, 1963 to H. Orvind and Merleen Mattern Bergstad in Great Falls, he grew up there, attending the local schools.  He was part owner of Eager Beaver Janitorial, loved Pepsi, hunting and fishing, wood working and was a cannabis connoisseur. 

Jeff was always the first to offer you life advice.  Everyone that knew him heard: “Sell it; Don’t pick your nose with your index finger; Don’t leave your crayons in the sun; Don’t eat yellow snow!”.  He liked to  advise people on the various ways to use a mustard bottle.

Survivors include his mother, Merleen Bergstad; sons, Greg (Ashley) Bergstad and Jacob (Lorelei) Bergstad; daughter, Destiny Gilder; sister, Lucinda (Steve) Criswell; brother, Jerry Bergstad; seven grandchildren, Zander, Ivy and Ruger Gilder, David and Serenity Bergstad and Chasin and Elle Bergstad.

Those who preceded him in death include his father, Hans Orvind Bergstad and brother, Jason Lee Bergstad.

He would drop everything and come running to bail you out if you were ever in trouble or in need.  He was always helping someone get back on their feet.  A good man who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
