Joseph Komeotis Obituary

Joseph Thomas Komeotis Sr., 85, Great Falls, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at Benefis Hospital. Care of Tommy has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home. At Tommy’s request there will be no services, but a celebration of his life will take place around his birthday.

Tommy was born November 7, 1935, at his home in Great Falls, MT to Thomas Komeotis and Cecelia Gardipee. He worked for Falls Construction Company until suffering a back injury. He married Barbara Komeotis in May of 1963 and then remarried in April of 2000. Tommy had a kind heart. He was always there for his kids, family, and friends, whether it was camping, fishing, or trying to get a pool team together.

Tommy is survived by his daughter, Laurie Komeotis (Tony) Harden; sons, Joey Komeotis, Paul Komeotis, Thomas (Jodi) Komeotis, David Komeotis; brother Tony (Sherry) Komeotis; sister, Lillian Gilbert; nieces, nephews, several grandchildren, great grand-children, and great great grand-children.

Those preceding Tommy in death his parents; wife, Barbara Komeotis; sons, Robert, and Harold Komeotis; daughter, Cynthia Henderson; two brothers; and three sisters.
