Dear Ted and family,

It's been so hard to to even accept Kathy's being no longer with us. For so many years she was a friend, colleague, and boss (not to mention the maker of fantastic brownies and mashed cauliflower--someone whose smile made the day instantly better. Jerry and I are so very sorry for your loss and send all our sympathy and prayers to you.

To Kathy's family,
I was on the board of the Great Falls Public Library Foundation for many years and worked with Kathy to determine the best use of our funds for the betterment of the Library and therefore the community of Great Falls. I was always impressed by her thoughtfulness, kindness and professionalism at all times. (And I loved her laugh!:) My deepest sympathy.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Kathy. I worked with her for 21 years as director of the library and watched as she steadily worked to get her undergraduate degree, technical certifications, and finally her masters. She worked at every position in the library and when it came time for my retirement, there was no other better choice to become director than Kathy. She did everything with intelligence and grace and will be sorely missed. My condolences to to Ted and her family.

My name is Marty Basta and Kathy and I were on the citys senior management team. We were both trying to do the right thing for the community and to preserve our departments. Kathy was one tough lady, never afraid to take on challenges head on. It was my privilege to call Kathy a friend. Please accept my condolences and know she touched a lot of lives during her extraordinary career with the city.
