Kay Nell (Frazier) Beesley

Kay Nell Beesley, 84, of Great Falls, MT passed away on June 20th, 2025. A Public Visitation is planned for 10AM on June 26, 2025, in the Rose Room Chapel of Croxford Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to follow at 11AM, following the Funeral Service there will be a Graveside Service at Highland Cemetery. 

Kay was born on May 29, 1941, to Russell and Thelma (Kendrick) Frazier in Vivian, LA. She met the love of her life Ronnie Beesley, in 1958, when he was in the Air Force stationed in Lake Charles, LA., on a blind date set up by Kay’s friend Denie, they went to Ford’s Drive In and had Van-Dykes. After that they dated whenever possible as Kay was still in high school and had a curfew. The young couple hit it off and were married on April 18, 1959. Kay and Ronnie were blessed with three great children; Tammy, Robin (both born in Lake Charles, LA) and Ronnie (who was born in Sault St. Marie, Michigan).

Ron was sent to Istanbul, Turkey by the Air Force in 1961, he was joined by Kay, Tammy and Robin in 1962. After leaving Turkey they were stationed in Sault St. Marie, Michigan. From there Ron was sent to Shemya, Alaska in 1966 without Kay and the family, who went back to Lake Charles until Ron returned from Alaska. After Ron’s homecoming, the family returned to Sault St. Marie, Michigan. In 1968, it was back to Izmir, Turkey until 1971, when they were stationed at Malmstrom until his discharge in 1976. Kay and Ron have lived in the same house since 1971 and Kay babysat lots and lots of loving children for 40 years, who all knew her as Mama Kay.

Kay had many hobbies, she enjoyed playing bingo, collecting beanie babies, bells, Elvis and “Gone With The Wind memorabilia. She was an avid New York Yankee fan, and she loved watching “The Walton’s” and “Little House On The Prairie” re-runs.

Kay is survived by her husband Ronnie, who she was happily married to for 66 years. Children Tammy (Denny), Robin (Steve) and Ronald (Connie). Grandchildren Rick, Heidi, Timmy, Stevie, Robbie (Faith), Tiffany (Zach). Along with her special friends Janice Mcgiboney and Don Storrusten, who have been neighbors for over 50 years.
