Kristi Anderson Obituary

Kristi Anderson, 69, passed away on May 18, 2024 in Great Falls, MT.  We'd like to say she passed peacefully; however, COPD is an ugly and barbarous disease. She was the first of four children to be born to Marian and Calvin Cromwell in Scobey, MT on August 28th, 1954. Kristi graduated from Great Falls High School in Great Falls, MT in 1972. Shortly after graduation, she met her future husband, Robert Anderson (Bobby Dan), a handsome musician at the J-Bar-T in Great Falls (Div. 2006). They married on January 9th, 1973 and followed where work and music would lead them. Eventually, they settled back down in Great Falls, MT and welcomed their only child, Lindsey, in 1985.

With a love for animals-- especially dogs (and the occasional cat), Kristi started her own dog-grooming business and named it “Kristi’s”. She would go on to serve the Great Falls community for decades. In fact, many of her clients would become lifelong patrons of her business. However, Kristi was not only everyone's dog groomer, but she was also their confidant, counselor, and most importantly, their friend.

With a knack for planting flowers, Kristi eventually landed a "fun job" (or “hobby jobby”, if you will) at The Flower Farm, allowing her to beautifully decorate her widely-admired back patio.

The pride of Kristi's life and apple of her eye was her granddaughter, Hadley. The two spent their time together shopping, coloring in coloring books, and eating popsicles for breakfast.  They shared a mutual fondness of spoiling one another and being spoiled in return.

Kristi is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Anderson (Chris Schuldt) and granddaughter Hadley Trogdon of Billings, MT; Her siblings—all of Great Falls, MT; Tracy (Dave) Perry, Shelley Warehime, Scott Cromwell; Nieces Taylor Perry, Lauren (Destin) Wassmann, Madison Warehime, Paige (Adam) Schearer, Cameron Perry of Great Falls; Brooke Perry of Los Angeles, CA; and Nephew, Calvin Cromwell of Mesa, AZ.

At Kristi's request, no funeral services are planned. However, a celebration of her life will be held in her backyard at 604 14th St. SW, Great Falls, MT on June 29th at 3pm. Potluck style. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please RSVP to Lindsey at (406) 413-0320 and send pictures of your dogs for a memorial to Tracy@bluerosestyles.com.
