Larry James Bautista Sr., 76, of Great Falls, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Peace Hospice. Affectionately known as "Papa" by his grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 24th at 1:30 PM in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. The Service will be Livestreamed for those unable to attend.
Born to James and Ruth Ruble Bautista in Great Falls on May 7, 1944, Larry graduated from Great Falls High School in 1962. On January 25, 1970 he married Janice Dillman in Las Vegas and they were lucky enough to enjoy 51 years together until his passing.
Larry and Janice lived in Fort Shaw before moving to Great Falls. Larry was a jack of all trades – a farmer, electrician, carpenter, a meat inspector and a salesman. He was the top salesman for Standard Feeds for several years.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Janice; sons, Matt (Marcy) and Larry Jr. (Melissa); sisters, Ginger (Ted) Lyon and Sherry (Ray) Steele; brother, Victor (Valerie); grandchildren, Jordyn, Dylan, Camryn, Jackson, Carson and Walker.
Those who have preceded him in death include his father, James Deguzman Bautista; mother, Ruth Edna Ruble; maternal grandfather, Edward Ross Ruble; brothers, Rick and Jack Bautista.
