Lawrence “Larry” Allan Christensen, 83, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 13, 2022. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home. Per his wishes no services will be held.
Larry was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin December 8, 1938 to Drew and Mary (Landers) Christensen. He attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in Kenosha. He met the love of his life, Sharon Philyaw in Kenosha, and they remained together until his passing.
An auto body specialist and mechanic, Larry was a jack of all trades. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed the outdoors, going hunting and fishing whenever possible. He enjoyed sports, was a big Packers fan, and a Griz fan, and loved his many dogs. An excellent Italian cook, we will miss his amazing spaghetti and ravioli.
Larry cherished time spent with his family, and as it grew to include grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his heart grew with them, as he loved them all dearly.
Survivors include his beloved Sharon; sons, John of Wisconsin and Perry of Great Falls; daughters, Michelle of Wisconsin and Kim of Great Falls; brothers, Jim and David; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
