On September 17, 2014 Leland Henry Voegele passed away of natural causes. He leaves behind his loving wife of 44 years, Arlene (Mickealson) Voegele; daughters, Julie Warneke, Rebecca Atwater, and Nola (Mickealson) Hug; sons, Kenneth Voegele, and Paul & Ross Mickealson; sister, Margery Hermanson; brothers, Deleno, Vernon, Merlin and James; as well as 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Susan Voegele; a son, Neil Mickealson; granddaughter, Amber Scott; parents, Jacob and Sarah (Arnst) Voegele; as well as his sister, Betty Anderson.
Leland was a graduate of Great Falls High School. He spent a number of years in service to his country as a member of the National Guard before joining Voegele’s Real Estate. Lee was a prominent business professional contributing to the Great Falls community for over 50 years.
Visitation will be open to family and friends on Wednesday, September 24 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Croxford Funeral Home. The family will attend a private burial at Highland Cemetery prior to the service. The Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be Thursday, September 25 at 2:00pm at the Great Falls Christian Center located at 4114 N. Park Trail, with a reception immediately following at the church’s Generation Building.
