Lynn Curtis Good, 78, of Stockett, MT passed away July 5 in Great Falls, MT. Complications from cancer is the cause of death. Lynn was born August 17, 1942 to David and Phyllis Curtis. She spent much of her early and teen years in the town of Dutton, MT. It was there that she met her future husband, Gary Good. Lynn and Gary married in 1958 and lived for a few years in and around Cut Bank, MT. In 1967, Lynn, Gary and their boys moved south of Stockett, MT and began cattle ranching. She lived the rest of her life there raising her two sons and helping out on the ranch. When her granddaughters came along they lit up her life and brought her so much joy. She was so proud to be their Grammy.
Lynn was a member of the Home Demonstration Club for many years. She was so talented at sewing, knitting, rug making and other crafts. One of her favorite things to do was to spend time in her flower gardens. She grew a vegetable garden almost every year and her yard is now flourishing with the trees that she planted. Lynn always had time for her family and friends and many holiday dinners and other events took place at her table.
Survivors include, husband Gary, Son Jeff, Granddaughters Alexis and Sophia, Son Chris, Sisters Carol Hagbom, Charlene Kitto and Renee Curtis and much extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Doug.
A Memorial will be held to honor Lynn Friday, July 9 at noon, in the pavilion at Elks Riverside Park, 701 River Drive N., Rivers Edge Trail, Great Falls, MT. Lunch will be provided. Please bring your own lawn chair and your own favorite story about Lynn if you would like to share.
