Marlette “Marci” Gay Skinner, 53, of Conrad passed away at Benefis Healthcare on June 25, 2024. A Memorial Service will be held on July 20th, 2024, at the Conrad Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saint ward building. A time will be posted later.
Marci was born September 1st , 1970 with her twin sister Melonie to Dorinda Canfield Nielsen. Marci was raised in Arlington, Washington and attended Arlington High School. During her high school years she earned her CNA certification and worked at Josephine Sunset Home for many years as a well loved and very proficient Aid.
Marci moved to Montana to help her twin sister Melonie open Beehive Homes in the High line area. She will be very missed. Marci met and married Gordon Johnston in Conrad and had her two beautiful daughters Rachel and Morgan. For the last 17 years Marci has been married to Brian Skinner and they lived happily in Conrad with their children.
Marci was a master at baking and loved to bake and cook for anyone and everyone. She helped with all school activities, with her many nieces and nephews as well as her own children. When she wasn’t in the kitchen she was crocheting, helping with swim team, conducting her church callings, managing the Beehive and driving everywhere with her sister Melonie. Marci and Brian loved their family and community
Marci is preceded in death by her Mother- Dorinda, her sister Dottie, and her first husband Gordon. Those who have survived her are her husband Brian Skinner, her daughters Rachel and Morgan Johnston of Conrad, Mt , Her twin sister Melonie of Thompson Falls,Mt, her brothers Don Nielsen of Arlington, WA, Dan Nielsen of Edmund, WA, sister Dori Spear of Arlington, WA and her granddaughter Hazel.
