Matthew Jacob Green, 46, Passed away on Saturday April 27th, 2024, in his home in Great Falls Montana.
Matt was born in Glasgow, Montana on November 14th, 1977 to Clayton and Peggy Green. When the Opheim Air Force station closed, the family was transferred to Malmstrom AFB, Great Falls, Montana where he spent the majority of his life.
Matt was an amazing man. He was sensitive, tender, thoughtful, very smart, funny and also forgiving. Those who knew him were very blessed.
Matt met his wife, Crystal Green, in May of 2015. He and Crystal fell in love and were inseparable. Matt welcomed Crystal’s 3 children, Kendra, Joslyn, and Jeramiah into his life. Matt had a love for children but never had any of his own. In April of 2015 Matt had experienced everything he ever wanted and their first son, Clayton, was born Matts “best buddy” making him the proudest man alive. In August 2019 Matt and Crystal were married and in September 2019 they had their daughter, Kourtney, daddies “baby doll”. Their life was now complete.
Matt had a few different occupations in his life but loved bartending the most. He loved being around people and making them smile. His proudest job was having the opportunity to bartend for the Malmstrom AFB. Matts dad was in the Air Force so working at the base was important to him.
Matt loved skiing and was hoping to teach his family this winter. He loved floating, taking the family to baseball games like he did with his dad, RC cars, being in the woods with his family, and going for “no destination drives” and gardening.
Matt’s love for his family was always there. Family was his number one priority and his biggest commitment, and true passion! He was their role model and best friend and is missed beyond measure!
He is survived by his loving wife Crystal Green, his son Clayton, his daughter Kourtney, his mother Peggy, and his brother Jesse.
