Michael James Gliko

Michael J. “Mike” Gliko of Belt, MT passed away at Peace Hospice surrounded by the love of his family on January 09, 2021. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home.

Born on March 14, 1950 in Great Falls, MT to Joseph and Katherine (Farmers) Gliko, Mike was raised in Belt, MT. He graduated from Belt High School and took on many different occupations throughout his life. He served his country in the Army, spent some time bartending, doing security at the airport, drove a truck, worked water wells and even worked for “Friendly sky airlines”, he was a man of all trades. Mike was a friendly and intelligent man, who could do anything and would help anyone.

Mike had many accomplishments in his life, but his greatest accomplishment was his family. Mike met the love of his life, Connie Lozon, 36 years ago in the Coulee and the couple married on September 21, 2004 in Great Falls. Blending their lives and their families, they shared 16 years of marriage and 36 years together. Mike and Connie shared 3 sons, 2 daughters, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping at the Newlan Creek Reservoir, traveling to Arizona and Nevada to watch Nascar racing, volunteering at the fairgrounds and the Belt cookouts, but most of all spending time with his family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Katherine Gliko. His Brother in Law Don May, Stepson Steven Lozon and Grandson Jaron Allen. Along with many of his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He is survived by his loving wife, Connie (May) Lozon Gliko, Son: Shadd Haulk, Step-Son: Danny Lozon , Step-Daughters: Tonya Lozon and Stacy Lozon. Half-sister: Anne Harris, Half-brother: John Miller. Father and Mother in law: Bob and Helen Ebensteiner, Brother in law: Rick (Phyllis) May, Roger (Linda) May and Leon May. Sister in law: Bonnie (Butch Elam) May, Elaine May and all the Gliko Family.

A Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Baptist Church (900 52nd St. N) on January 30th, 2021 @ 11AM. Please do not send flowers to the service. A Celebration of life potluck (Salads and Desserts) will be held at the Hide Out Lounge (2401 12th Ave S.) after the Memorial Service.
