Norman Delanore Harris

Norman Delanore Harris, 80, of Sun River passed away Sunday May 20, 2018 due to a car accident.  A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 26th at 1:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sun River, with Burial to follow at the Sun River Cemetery. 

Norman was born July 28, 1937 in Conrad, MT to Curtis and Gladys Harris.  He attended the local schools and graduated from Simms High School in 1957.  After graduation Norman worked at the Great Falls Smelter for two years, then farmed for the rest of his life.  He was a good mechanic, water witcher, loved hunting and fishing and helped his neighbors and all others as they needed help.  Norman owned a backhoe and helped many people around the area. 

Survivors include Gordon C. (Ina Mae) Harris of Mackey, ID, Donna Lorraine (Norman) Clifton of American Fork, UT, Garry James (Joann) Harris of Green Valley, AZ, William Terrance (Dorothy) Harris of Vaughn, MT.

Those who have preceded him in death include his parents; sisters, Gladys Rowena Bleecker and Colleen Thorne.
