Richard Pangborn Obituary

Richard Charles Pangborn was born February 22, 1970 in Jamestown, New York.  It is sad to say that he has passed away at his home in Great Falls, MT on March 17th, 2021.  He is remembered as a beloved son, a loving father, a cherished grandfather and a devoted brother.  He spent his childhood between New York Florida and Georgia before settling down in Denver, Colorado at the age of 14.

Rich graduated from Kamiakin High School and then from ITT Technical Institute. He later settled in Great Falls, MT where he began a Facebook page called Lif in Great Falls MT.  Through this page his friends and family were able to fall in love with the place he decided to call home.  Richard was hard not to like after meeting him or even talking to him for a bit.  His Facebook page gave everyone the chance to connect with him and give him a sense of community and friendship he needed.  After seeing the comments and memories being shared, his family is comforted by knowing even though distance kept us apart, he was surrounded by people that cared for him.  He was a free-spirited hippie that danced to his own drum.  This memory will live on and we are forever thankful for the time we spent with him.

Richard leaves behind his loving family: his children, Nyssa E. Perez, Madison Rae Garbiso-Lozano and Nathanial Craig Garbiso; three grandchildren, Aiyana, Noah and Sophia-Marie; his father, Craig Pangborn and stepmother, Lori Pangborn; his mother, Joanna Hurd Christianson; siblings, Belinda Pangborn, Gail Greenawalt, Shelly Trujillo, Kristy Davis-Pangborn, Teava Pangborn and Jason Varnum.

Richard Charles Pangborn will be sorely missed, but forever loved.  May his spirit truly be free.
