Richard Alan Perucca, age 41, died peacefully on January 16th, 2023 in Great Falls, Montana. He has been cremated and his funeral service will be held at Croxford Funeral Home on January 21st, 2023 from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Richard was born August 22, 1981 in Great Falls, Montana to Roy Melton and Janice (Perucca) Swiney. Richard graduated from Great Falls High School in 2000. He played basketball and baseball through high school and continued his love for baseball by playing softball for many years after graduating. Richard loved to fish, and he was a huge Denver Broncos and Seattle Mariners fan. He was so proud of his children and loved his family very much. He was known for his Chuck Norris jokes. Richard worked construction for numerous years and had a passion for it. He was the oldest of eight siblings. Richard is survived by his children Ivy Johnson-Perucca, Peyton Perucca, Brystol Perucca, and Miya Perucca; parents Janice (JW(Step-dad)) Swiney and Roy Melton; grandmother, Katherine Perucca; sisters Candace (David) Casteel, Jessica (Jerome) Richardson, Rebecca Perucca, Christina (Jerry) Shouse, Heidi Melton, Amanda Melton, Tiffany Pohl; nieces Makayla, Aria, Zoe, Paisley; nephews Kaidin, Wyatt, Hunter, Travis; uncles Steve (Nancy) Perucca, Kenneth (Carrie) Perucca, David Perucca, Curtis (Lisa) Perucca; aunts Sharol Harwood, LuAnne (Howard) Mitchell; cousins Michael (Lauren) Perucca, Weston Perucca, Brandi Rilkoff, Nicholas Perucca, Kaylee (Phil) Bennallack, Braden (Kaylee) Perucca, Justin Perucca, Chantel (Brody) Prows, Jocelyn Perucca, George Perucca, Melissa Perucca, Andrea (Stephen) Barker, Diana (Quang Nguyen) Mitchell, Allyson Mitchell, Andrew Perucca, Jacklyn Perucca; Matthew Brockie (Richard’s lifelong best friend), Renee Miller (mother of Peyton and Brystol Perucca), Jacque Morse (mother of Miya Perucca), TinaMarie Grundhauser (mother of Ivy Johnson-Perucca). Richard was preceded in death by his grandfather Albert John Perucca; uncle Jim Harwood; cousins Robert Perucca, Joal Harwood. Memorial funds were provided by a GoFundMe fundraiser organized by Ivy Johnson-Perucca, a huge thank you from her to all that donated! Richard’s grandfather would always say “I’m fine, Richard’s fine too”.
