Shirley Grossman, 86, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. There will be a private family Graveside Service on Saturday, August 12th with a Reception for family and friends at 1PM in the Congregational UCC Fellowship Hall.
Shirley was born to John and Anna (Weishaar) Dalke in Fallon, MT. When she was six months old, they moved to a farm near Power, MT. She attended Power Public Schools, graduating in May of 1955. In June of 1955 she married her high school sweetheart, Gordon. They lived for 51 years on a farm close to the Crowe School on the Fairfield bench.
She enjoyed yardwork, music, attending her kids and grandkids sports, school programs, family get together and playing cards (especially pinochle) with family and friends.
Survivors are her husband of 68 years, Gordon; daughter, Betty (John) Hogenson of Wilsall, MT; sons, Bruce (Linda), David (Brenda) and Rick, all of Great Falls; four granddaughters and three grandsons; four great granddaughters and three great grandsons, three step grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Peressini, Alice (Charles) Martin; sister-in-law, Joan Dalke and ex daughter-in-law, Lyla.
Those preceeding her in death are her parents; sisters, Bertha (Milo) Jeffries, Dolores (Robert) Standley and Mary Ann (Kenneth) Beck; brothers, Reuben (Dolores) Dalke and Ray Dalke; brother-in-law, Edward Peressini.
