Theodore Craig Horning, 63 of Great Falls, passed away January 13, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 23 at 1:00pm in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home.

Ted was born August 29, 1951 in St. Marys, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school he served in US Army for two years, earning himself the Sharpshooter certification in the M16 & grenades, as well as the National Defense Service Medal.

Working ground maintenance at Meadowlark Country Club allowed Ted to enjoy his favorite thing – the outdoors. In his spare time he loved to go fishing and hunting. He enjoyed playing pool and spending time with his loving wife, Debbie.

Ted is survived by his wife of 11 years, Debra (Welsch) Horning; daughter, Megan O’Connell of WA; son, Justin Horning of MO; sister, Tawyna Wolfe of PA; brother, Tom Horning of PA; step-brother, Rocky Shaffer of PA, as well as step-siblings Nola, Lura, Skip, and Kathy; aunt, Faye Benedict, also of PA; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Bailey, Colton, Caden, and Cloe.

He is preceded in death by first wife, Carmen; step-father, Lester Shaffer; father, George Horning; mother, Gloria Shaffer; as well as two brothers, Terry and Tim Horning.
