Theresa Marie LeDeau, who sprinkled a touch of Disney magic wherever she went, embarked on her final journey to the great beyond on January 18, 2024, in Great Falls, Montana, the very city that first witnessed her enchanting smile on December 17, 1969.
Known for her extraordinary sense of humor and a smile that could outshine the stars, Theresa lived a life that was anything but a bingo hall- although she frequented those too, dabber in hand, ready to claim victory. Her love for Disney movies was no fairy tale; Theresa believed in the magic of happily-ever-afters and shared this joy with everyone around her.
Leaving behind a legacy of laughter and cherished memories, Theresa is survived by her personal cast of characters: sons Derrick Shields, Daniel Shields, Aaron Burtness, Jesse Burtness, David Burtness; daughter Meggan Nightshoot; sister Ida Zeak; and brother Adam LeDeau Jr. She takes with her a piece of their hearts, as well as the hearts of her mother, Billie Jarvis; father, Adam LeDeau Sr; brother, Eddie LeDeau; and sister, Kathy Cameron-LeDeau, who preceded her in their own timeless tales.
Whether she was getting her nails done or simply enjoying life's simple pleasures, Theresa's zest for life was as vibrant as a fresh coat of paint on a manicured nail.
As seasons change, a memorial fitting for the queen of fun will be held later this spring. Croxford Funeral Home in Great Falls, Montana, is behind the scenes, ensuring Theresa's final curtain call is as memorable as her life was.
So here's to Theresa, whose life was a beautiful patchwork of joy, laughter, and a touch of pixie dust. She may have left the party a tad early, but the story of her life will continue to inspire chuckles and grins for generations to come.
