Timothy Paul Trainor, 59, of Great Falls passed away on May 22, 2020. Cremation has taken place under the care of Croxford Funeral Home.
Tim was born on January 30, 1961 to John Trainor and Dottie Munsell in Arco, ID. The family did not stay put though and would later move to Great Falls, where Timmy would find work as a roofer for S & T Roofing, something he found he had a passion for.
When not out on a roof, Tim could be found working on vehicles (“NASCAR rules!”) or out in the wilderness hunting (he loved to shoot) and camping surrounded by his adoring family. Although he led an active life, he would find time to cheer on his favorite football team, Denver, and if you listen you might still be able to hear him yelling, “Go Broncos!!”
He will be missed by many including his father, John Junior Trainor of Great Falls; sons, Jonathon Trainor and Paul Trainor, both of Great Falls; daughters, Desirae and Trisha Trainor of Great Falls; sisters, Linda Robinette of Great Falls, Rana (Eric) Croft of East Helena, and August (Zach) Turner of Great Falls; brother, Mike Giles of Great Falls; grandchildren, Taylea, Imogen, Devon, Gabrial, Korbin, Keaton, and Kade Trainor.
He now goes on to join his mother, Dottie Munsell; stepmother, Margaret Trainor; grandmothers, Nancy Curtis Munsell, and Dora Roda; grandfathers, John Trainor, and Paul Munsell.
As Tim would say, “If you’re gonna be a bear, you better be a grizzly bear.”
