Valerie Ann LaMere

Valerie Ann LaMere, 60, of Great Falls, MT passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday August 26th, 2023. A viewing will be held Friday Sept 1, 2023, in the Rose Room Chapel of Croxford Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Service on Saturday September 2, 2023, at 11AM.

Born on May 22nd, 1963, to parents Alvin and Charlotte LaMere; she was one of their nine children, along with Lyle, Mike, Rick, Kim, Kelly, Duane, Brian, and Frank. Through the years, Valerie lived in both Billings and Great Falls, where she raised her two children, Jairami LaMere and Charlla McGillis. She would go on to eventually meet her lifelong partner of 24 years Carlos Lopez and his three children, Cassidy, Angelo and Fawnda Lopez all of Great Falls.

Valerie loved spending time with her loved ones and talking on the phone with them. She would send them messages just to make sure they were okay. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson Matteo, whom she and Carlos helped raise together.

She leaves behind many who will forever love and miss her, who will cherish the memories they had with her. Valerie now goes on to be with her dad Alvin LaMere, brothers Mike and Rick LaMere, grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
