Veronica Lee Davis

June 8, 1958 ~ April 18, 2022 (age 63)

Veronica Lee Davis was born on June 8th, 1958, to Eunice Longknife and Edward Davis Sr. on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in Montana. Veronica passed away on April 18th, 2022, in Great Falls, Montana.  Veronica died due to cirrhosis of the liver. She attended school at Artesia High School in Lakewood, California.

Veronica was someone who would give her last dollar to help her children, grandchildren, or friends. She was beyond generous and caring. She always made sure she told her children and grandchildren that she loved them. She would call everyday just to check in.

Veronica loved spending her time crocheting and enjoying Lifetime Movies. She really didn’t require much to be happy. She was a proud Native woman, and she will be deeply missed by all her family.

She would always tell her children before she hung up the phone with them “Don’t ever tell me bye, bye is forever.”

Veronica was preceded in death by her mom, Eunice Clara Longknife (of Fort Belknap, Mt); Grandma Rose (OneMan) Longknife (of Fort Belknap, Mt); her aunts, Katherine Longknife Ereaux (of Fort Belknap. Mt), Ella Longknife Moore (of Fort Belknap, Mt), Neoma Longknife Abbott (of Fort Belknap, Mt); her Uncle Leroy Longknife (of Fort Belknap, Mt); her two sisters, Wanda Faye Coriz (of Hacienda Heights, Ca) and Linda Sue Davis (of Fort Belknap, MT)

She is survived by her four children, Donald Gibson (of Anaheim, Ca), Rachelle (Alfredo) Gibson (of Anaheim, Ca), Justin (Robbie) Vann (of Tahlequah, OK) and Danielle Morris (of Long Beach, Ca), whom she loved dearly; her 6 grandchildren, Christopher Gibson, Ariana Sanchez, Angel Sanchez, Ryder Gibson, Ellcilu Vann and Kuwaya Vann; her brothers, Edward Davis Jr. and Jeffrey Davis; her father, Edward Davis Sr.; as well as all her family from the Longknife, Ereaux, Moore on Ft. Belknap Indian Reservation in Montana.
