Wallace Bell passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023.
Wallace was born in Chester, Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and infant son. His family later moved to Power, MT where he attended school. During the summer months, in addition to farming, he worked for Teton Plumbing and Heating and for Power Farmers CO-OP until he started his United Association, local 139 Plumbing apprenticeship with Pinski Brothers Plumbing & Heating in Great Falls, Montana, where he obtained his Journeymen’s license. He became a Master plumber and opened his own company, Bell Building Mechanical Services, introducing the concept of large, enclosed service vehicles containing adequate inventory to repair most service calls. He engineered, sized, and installed numerous conversions from electric to hot water (hydronic) heating systems. He developed his own very effective warm water thawing system for frozen water services.
He cared deeply about the political effects for our country’s majority. He was interested in technology, recycling, fishing, camping, and gardening.
Wallace leaves behind the legacy of hard work, determination, and intense passion. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his loving and supportive wife, Karen, Wallace is survived by his daughter, Amy Bell (Jon Busby); sisters, Gail Kline Bell, Anita Kowalchuck.
In accordance with his family's wishes, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in Wally's name.
