Warren "Soup" Stam Obituary

Warren William “Soup” Stam, 85, of Great Falls passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Benefis Health Care. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home. Per his wishes no services will be held.

Born in Havre, MT on June 16, 1935 to Rodney and Sarah Kuhr Stam, Warren grew up in Chinook, graduating from Chinook High School. In August of 1969 he married Marge DeMers in North Dakota, although they divorced in later years. He served in the U.S. Army before returning to Great Falls.

Warren lived in Great Falls for over 50 years, working many jobs, but his last was as a flooring installer. He loved the outdoors, especially during hunting season. He always enjoyed working with his hands, building model remote control airplanes and flying them.

Survivors include his brother, Douglas Stam of Polson, MT; sister-in-law, Beverly Stam of Spokane, WA; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Harshman and brother, Kenneth Stam.
