We'd hoped to be with you today to celebrate Brenny's life, but since that's not possible, we'll express our sympathy to all of you in this way. Brenny always seemed like a force of nature, and it seems impossible that all that energy and enthusiasm for life was cut far too short. We especially admired the way she looked after her parents in these difficult years. Like the rest of her family and friends, we'll miss her very much. Uncle Dan and Aunt Jeanne Olson

I worked with Brennan, for a couple of years, when she worked for CFSD. She always had a smile on her face, despite the workload that made it easy to wipe that smile right from your face. She had a huge heart and she had a radiation, about her, that just made you smile. Rest in peace, Brennan. I hadn't seen you in well over a decade but your smile never left the mental picture I carried of you. God's speed.

As I was posting some pictures tonight of my years knowing Brennan, I remember just what a light she was. Always happy, always smiling, and always ready to have fun! We shared a love of music -- loud music -- and I'll always remember turning up the tunes in the bedroom we shared with 2 other girlfriends while at SCU. I'm so happy we got a chance to reconnect at our recent 25 year college reunion. Your SCU friends will be toasting you (most likely with a Bud Light) on Saturday, December 10. Love to you my friend!

I was deeply shocked to learn than Brennan had passed. She seemed able to create a good, joyful life for herself , oblivious to adversity that I thought would sink anyone less strong. I met her through Gorham and Pattie Jo and I was very reassured that a person of her abilities and strength would be in Great Falls, able to help if needed. I was even more deeply shocked at Gorham's passing. Beginning with Randall and Helen and passing down to Gorham and Brennan, it seemed like the Swanbergs were a solid and enduring part of Great Falls, I cannot imagine the city without them.

Hey Bren... that was a horrible shock. I still can't believe it. We've had so many fun times over our lives and gone to some cool places. We've had hard times, too, like all Families! I know you're with Daddy and Gorham and where ever you believed that to be I hope it's comforting. In my heart always. You will be missed... Jenny

My sympathy to Brennan's family. I will always remember Brennan's quick sense of humor, intelligence, and that sparkle in her eyes. We shared so many long hours of laughs and good times on those buses for high school basketball and volleyball games. It seems like yesterday. Rest in peace my friend.

Brennen, I will never forget you! I remember being a senior in high school and you were a junior. When I got substituted out of the volleyball team, you were the one to Substitute for me. So, we were close with each other because we shared the same position! You also played in the brassband with me as we went on awesome band trips and junior high school, too! I can't believe you have passed away but I know the people in the heavens above are excited to have you coach them in the stars above since you are a wonderful, loving person! I'll never forget you my dear friend! My condolences goes out to your family! Rest In Peace my dear friend until we meet again!

I think of Brennen and can hear her speaking, and laughing, and mentioning Neil Diamond quite often as she attended my French classes at Great Falls High...I especially remember a long presentation Brennen did for class, with photos and music (you know who the artist was) to describe her understanding of modern French philosophy...it was wonderful. Having been her French teacher, I will always wish she could have talked to me about that trip to Europe she described as her "badge of honor." I just hope she loved seeing France, and that she had a story to tell about being somewhere on that trip and hearing...yes, a song by Neil Diamond ! I have never forgotten her, and her awesome smile. She was one in a million. Adieu, Brennen.
