While we only briefly dated in high school, Brian was the first truly nice guy I'd met. Because of him, I am still afraid to drive onto ramps (hence my fear of car washes) as I drove too fast up a ramp and ruined my car while he was attempting to change my oil. I've often wondered where he ended up, as he was an individual who left a lasting impression of kindness on all who were lucky enough to meet him. Sending prayers to his brother and parents.

Brian's Family,

I'm so sorry to hear of Brian's passing. I worked with him down here in Boise and we both started about the same time. We were also both from Montana. I was born and raised in Helena. Brian was a joy to work with and a great employee. He had a good sense of humor and was a pleasure to be around. He worked really hard and always seemed to have a great attitude. I certainly missed him when he left and now am really sorry to hear that he is gone. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I haven't known Brian since high school but for some reason I recalled something funny he wrote in my yearbook and I thought it was worth sharing. Brian sat behind me in senior English and his long legs didn't fit in the desks well so he was constantly pushing me (and my entire desk forward). He wrote "I'm glad you sat in front of me, you're a good sport...any other girl would have slapped me silly!" He ended it with "Live each day to the fullest." Which definitely made me smile through the tears. My prayers and thoughts have been with your family all week, may his kind soul rest peacefully.

Greg, Debby and Phil, please accept my condolences during this difficult time. Brian and I were the best of friends through part of high school and all of college. He was one of the smartest, hard-working persons I ever knew. I'll never forget all of the great times we had together going to hot rod shows, fishing and camping, and traveling. You'll be greatly missed Brian!
