Cody Lee Lambert

September 5, 1987 ~ December 2, 2016 (age 29) 29 Years Old

Cody Lambert, 29, went to rejoice in Heaven on December 2nd, 2016, surrounded by his family after a yearlong battle with a rare cancer in his heart. A Vigil Service and Visitation for Cody will be held Friday, December 9, from 6-8 PM in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, December 10, at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Cathedral, 715 3rd Ave N, Great Falls, with Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The reception will follow at the Black Eagle Community Center.

Cody was born in Great Falls, MT to Tammy LaMere and LeRoy Wine on August 5, 1987 with a full head of dark hair. Cody attended Highland Elementary, Lewis and Clark Middle School and graduated as a Bronco with honors from Billings Senior High in 2005.

Cody had various jobs over the course of his life. He was an assistant at Moore Lane Veterinary Hospital where he applied his love for animals. Though some of his best skills and gifts were used throughout his landscaping career which is where he really flourished.  His last job was a front-end supervisor at the Dollar Tree which he excelled at and was quickly promoted within months of being hired on.  Due to his untimely passing, Cody left this world without getting to fulfill one wish which was to become a botanist.  

Cody’s love for his family was unwavering.  His positive energy and presence could be felt all around him.  He had a heart of pure gold and was always cheerful. Cody was truly willing to help anyone and would do so with the shining smile he was always known for.  Cody enjoyed having a good time and was typically the life of the party. Cody also had an amazing love for children and was able to show that love to a one special boy in particular, Joe. He also showed this love to his nieces and nephews every chance he got.  

Cody was an avid fisherman and spent his last year fishing as much as he could. He had a tremendous love for the outdoors and spent as much time camping as possible.  He enjoyed playing folf, shooting his guns and a bow and arrow. He enjoyed reading until his last days. Cody liked working on cars although some of the repairs ever seemed to work out. He was a huge fan of Fast N’ Loud and would have loved to work at the Gas Monkey Garage. Cody enjoyed digging out his tools and attempting to fix things with the help of his mom. He watching sports, especially his LA Lakers and his favorite football team the Seattle Seahawks. One of his dreams was to attend a Seahawks game through the Dream Foundation; a dream that was going to come true on December 15th 2016. But now he will be attending as an angel from Heaven.  

Cody was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Emily; grandfather, Toby; various uncles and cousins.

Cody is survived by his mother, Tammy LaMere of Great Falls, MT; father, LeRoy Wine of Spokane, WA; brothers, Dustin (Kat) Wine of Great Falls, MT, Sean Star of Great Falls, MT, LeRoy (Kelly) Lambert of Billings, MT, Toby (Hannah) Lambert of Billings, MT, Shane Carrell of Boise, ID, Hunter LaMere; sisters, Lisa LaMere of Billings, MT, Crystal Blendu of Portland, OR, Misty Blendu of Starkville, MS, and Emily Carrell of Meridian, ID; numerous nieces and nephews, Nathaniel, Dillon, Chloriss, Kodiak, Dustin, Landon, Amelia, Annah, Bella, family dog, TJ; grandmother, Susie Gross.  He also had numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
