Homer was a true friend and a very kind gentleman. He and Gladys promised to help me out anytime I needed them. One time I was at work at the Red Cross and I called Homer to see if he could take my lawnmower to Sears to have it serviced. It was picked up the next day and then delivered back to me. One of my co-workers said that tire stores don't do pickups, well maybe the others didn't but mine did. I always had great customer service, above and beyond and of course Gladys was a dear friend too.

My sincere condolences to Steve, Clark and all of the Potts family. It's been 10 years since I last saw Homer, but I remember him very well from childhood. He always impressed me (and scared me a bit) as being such a forthright, strong, moral person--an incredibly perfect example of what a man ought to aspire to become. Our nation may not realize it, but one heck-of-a great American has left us for a better place. I am truly grateful and honored to have known him, his amazing wife, Gladys, and their fine sons--my childhood friends, Steve and Clark.

My condolences to the Pott's family. I have fond memories of OK tire company (my Dad worked there) in the early 1960's. I pulled weeds from around the front of the building and watched President Kennedy come to Great Falls as an 8 year old in front of the OK tire sign. From what I remember Mr. Potts was a nice grownup to me. Thanks for a memory of my childhood Mr. Potts.

Our condolences to Homer's family. We enjoyed living next door to Gladys and Homer on 6th Avenue South during the years that Steve and Clark were growing up. Thanks for sharing great memories in his obituary.
