Remember all our fun times over the Hump with Uncle Jim. All the family picnics and reunions were special. He will be missed.

I am a long time friend of Gary and Verna. So sorry for your loss.
I do not remember what year it was, Gary and Verna were living in College Place, WA just around the corner from my folks home. We became friends through church. My sister Diane and I had the privilege of "going over the hump" with the whole family for a weekend. I remember Verna's dad and have many faces and voices of that weekend but sadly no names as I was young and so do not remember. What I do remember is a lot of laughter, teasing, horsing around, great camping food and the beauty that was all around. And it is something that I told my son, who is now 30+ about as he was growing up. It made the best adventure story for bedtime!!!! Thank you all for that memorable weekend.
