I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I just saw his obituary tonight and was very sad to hear the news. He was a very pleasant man. I will also remember him saying to you..."yes, dear"!!

Ellen, I was truly saddened yo see that John passed. He was a fantastic person to know. We were friends from the time I retired from the military. Many, many excellent memories with him will be with me the remainder of my life. You are a strong person and we have had many laughs throughout the years. John is a saint who will be remembered by many. Bless you John and now you can rest in peace.

Good day, Miss Ellen. Many years ago when I had a V.A. appointment at Fort Harrisson, John shared a story I never forgot. While driving through the canyon, John pointed to the "old road" being reclaimed by nature. He pointed out his dad would have overloaded hay stacks on the Chevy truck, and John would always be right close behind with the same size load. He said "that was before the new road was built.
He also shared when he was pulled over to get a ticket once and he was not guilty of anything. He also talked about how the old trucks always broke down and dad always got 'em going. When I played Red Sovine's GiddyUpGo on the disc, he started tearing up. I can't help to think of his stories every time I pass thru the canyon.
God Bless the privilege of having John for my Best Friend.

Changed my picks as Im thinking about someone I really loved-he passed yesterday-know he is in a better place. Wonder how long it took him to find the farm in heaven. He was truly happy around animals and he loved his wife. She too is my friend and has been known as mom for many years. Way to many to list. Cause it would make us both old. I'll never hear John say "yes dear" again. Or see his smiling face. He was the best milkman I ever had. He was just plain good folk. Miss you John but know we will see you again. RIP. My heart my tears and my prayers are going out to one of our block family member. For her husband passed away last night. I am So very sorry Ellen. I pray that God will ease the pain of the loss of one of our own. You know you are loved and if you need anything please let us know. R.I.P. John, you are free my dear. Sorry to hear about John, he was a pretty funny guy. His mannerisms made me laugh, I will always remember him saying "Yes Dear!" I am sad to hear of his passing, but I am happy to have known him. Every time I saw him he always had a smile on his face.
