Judy Kay Wiegand

August 25, 1953 ~ March 20, 2017 (age 63) 63 Years Old

On March 20, 2017, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Judy Kay Wiegand, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at the age of 63. A Graveside Memorial will be held in celebration of her life on March 27 at Sun River Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sun River.

Judy was born in Idaho Falls on August 25, 1953 to Charles and Arlene Cutler. At a young age she and her family moved to Vaughn, Montana and graduated from Simms High. In 1971 Judy married Warren Wiegand in Reno, NV. Judy cherished her opportunity to be a stay at home mother, raising five children and tending to the needs the of the family. Judy and Warren later divorced in 1996.

Judy returned to school at the age of 40, obtaining her LPN from the Great Falls College of Technology and an RN from Montana State University in Havre. After college she began her career in nursing. She became an administrator while living in Billings and her career took her to many other states and, eventually, brought her back home. Her true passion in nursing was working with the elderly and dementia patients in care homes.

Judy loved to travel and bake sweets for the family; she was a crafty lady who became skilled at crocheting, knitting and sewing. She loved and treasured time spent with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her sons, Wyatt (Camille) Wiegand of Fort Shaw, and Dustin Wiegand of Billings; daughters, Tera (Scott Bako) Wiegand, Lindy (Mike) Savino, both of Great Falls, and Hannah (Jonathon) Reimer of Lincoln, NE; sister, Cathy Williams of Roy, UT; and brothers, Ken Cutler of Vaughn and Rodney Cutler of Great Falls. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.

Those who have preceded her in death include her parents; and two brothers, Dix and Roger Cutler.
