Rick was an Air Force buddy of mine. We went through basic and advanced training together and ultimately served at RAF Alconbury in England in the same squadron. He was a friend, a gentleman and a fine soldier. Rick introduced me, a Led Zeppelin fan, to the finer points of country music and I am a country guitarist because of that. While serving overseas, Rick helped pull me out of a couple jams and I am indebted to this day. Please accept my sincere condolences. My thanks to God for the short time I knew Rick, and may God bless his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. Although we haven't been in touch for quite a few years now, we were pretty close as kids--we were the cousins closest in age. I have lots of great memories of those times. I really wish we could have made it up to Great Falls today to be with all of you! My heart and thoughts are with you--and I want to give all of you a big hug! Family means so much.
