Alice Kay Pendley Thornton, 51, of Great Falls, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015 of natural causes at a local care facility. Croxford Funeral Home is in care of the arrangements. No services have been planned at this time. Alice was born on April 14, 1963 in Cook County to parents Red Pendley and Viola Hartz. From this union they were blessed with two sons and 2 daughters. She was raised in Chicago, IL but later moved back to Montana where she received her high school diploma from Adult Education in Great Falls. Alice married Alan Youngblood in Los Angeles. The two divorced in 1985 and Alice was later married to Kenny Hinrichs. This too ended in divorce in 1997. In 2003, she met her true love, Robert Thorton. The two remained together until her passing. In addition to being a homemaker and devoted wife, Alice enjoyed work as a caterer in L.A. and Great Falls. Alice enjoyed a variety of crafts and hobbies. She has a certain knack for crocheting and was quite the quilt maker. She also enjoyed playing with her pets, swimming, and drawing. Involved in the community, she was a proud member of Adult Day Care. Survivors include her husband Rob; parents; sisters, Alexandrea and Andy Pendley; brothers, Adrew and Alexander Pendley; daughters, Autumn Star and Dawn Pendley; sons, Moonie Pendley and Phillup Thorton. Alice was preceded in death by her first husband Alan Youngblood; her parents Red and Violoa Thorton; daughter Angela and son Micheal.
