Arthur W. Mills, 93, of Wolf Creek, passed away on October 11, 2015 at a local care facility. Cremation has taken place under the care of Croxford Funeral Home. An inurnment will take place next summer at the family plot at Hillside Cemetery in Cascade, MT.

Art was born December 4, 1921 in Wolf Creek, MT to Grace Elmendorf and Fred Mills. One of eleven children, he grew up in the area, graduating from Cascade High School. In June, 1942, he joined the U.S. Army Air Corp serving in New Guinea and Mindora Island, Philippines in 1943. Art was discharged in 1945, and returned to the Cascade area. In 1946, he married Madonna Leva, and ranched in the Cascade area from 1946 to 1948. He joined Montana Power Co. in 1949, and remained with them until his retirement in 1984. Madonna and Art moved to the Augusta, MT area in 1952, raising four wonderful children; Jim, Don (deceased), Becky and Karla. Unfortunately, in 1975 Madonna passed away. Art was lucky enough to find another good woman, marrying Margaret (Peggy) Berger Wuerl in 1976. Upon his retirement in 1984, Art and Peggy spent several years in Arizona, and they remained together until her passing in 2008.

Art is survived by his children, Jim Mills, Becky (Pat) Parker. Karla (Norm) Williams; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
