Beverly June Ludtke Steen, 81, of Great Falls, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Benefis in Great Falls. A Memorial service for Beverly will be held on Tuesday, July 7th at 1:00pm at Croxford Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm prior to the service on Tuesday. A private family burial will take place at a later date.

Beverly was born August 3, 1933 in Great Falls, Montana to Ida and Alfred Ludtke. Beverly was raised in Ulm, attended public school in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High School. She was the second youngest of five children.

In 1956, Beverly married Gerald “Jerry” Fetherston in Great Falls. During their union they were blessed with three children. Gerald and Beverly later parted ways, and in 1969 Beverly married Lawrence Steen in Seattle, Washington.

Beverly was a bookkeeper for Pennington’s and then Andy’s Tire (aka Eklunds). Later she retired early to enjoy camping, fishing and traveling with her husband Lawrence. Beverly volunteered at the local hospital, her church Westside United Methodist and as an official during elections. She enjoyed working along with her husband making crafts. She was blessed with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The grandchildren enjoyed going camping and learning to fish with their grandmother.

Survivors include her three children, Tom (Karol) Fetherston, Patti Dana, and Tim (Chris) Fetherston; sister, Emily Adams; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband Lawrence; sister Edith Hinebauch; brother Vernon Ludtke; and sister Helen Lower.

The family suggests memorials may be sent to Westside United Methodist Church or to a charity of your choosing
