Donald Edward Abdul, 81 years of age, passed away of natural causes at his Great Falls residence on December 17, 2014. Cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held in Hawaii at a later date.

Donald is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Anne Abdul; daughters, Donna (Randy) Stromski and Kathy (Joe) Carvalho; son, Brian (Becky) Abdul; sister, Leilani Zimmsman; as well as three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Donald came into the world on Christmas day in 1932 on Oahu, Hawaii. He worked as the circulation manager for the Hawaii Tribune Herald and retired as the maintenance supervisor for the State of Hawaii. Donald had a very active involvement in his community, spending several years as the Police Commissioner as well as the Liquor Commissioner. He was also the PAC Chairman for HGEA and a member of his local Democratic party. While in Hawaii he was a member of Hilo SDA Church and upon moving to Montana on July 3, 2012, became a member of the Great Falls SDA Church. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing the local waters.
