Doris Arlene Flesch, 79, of Great Falls, passed away on May 1, 2016 at Benefis Healthcare.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home, 1307 Central Ave., Great Falls. Her burial will follow Saturday, May 7 at 3:00 PM at the Central Montana Memorial Gardens in Lewistown, Montana.

Doris was born in Waukon, Iowa to Charles and Jeannette (Cavers) Brooks on November 8, 1936. She attended a one room schoolhouse in Iowa and worked with her siblings on the farm during her childhood.

Doris married Nile Flesch, they had daughters, Bonnie, LouAnn and Debbie; and sons, Dennis and Billy. Doris and Nile parted ways after many years together.

She loved to crochet, knit and go to TOPS in her free time. She often donated her time at Treasure Depot. Doris loved spending time with her family, going fishing, camping and playing with her dog Missy. Doris also enjoyed spending time visiting with friends.

She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Bret) Bernie; LouAnn Headly, Debbie Flesch, and Dennis Flesch; her sisters, Mary Lou Troundle and Barb Koch; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Billy Flesch; parents, Charles and Jeanette; siblings, Helen, Roger and Ruth; and nephew, Timmy.
