Ginger Rae Powell, 62, of Great Falls passed peacefully on February 10, 2015 at a local care facility after a long hard fight with MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date, cremation has been entrusted to Croxford Funeral Home.

Ginger was born in Great Falls, Montana on April 8, 1952, she was raised in Great Falls and graduated from Great Falls High. She worked at Joan’s ceramic Shop, until struck by severe illness and was no longer able to continue. Ginger always had and was known for having fresh flowers in her home. She had a great love for gardening, camping with friends and tubing the Belt Creek.

Her daughter remembers her mom and her friend Gary dancing around the house… the hustle, and the two step. They were such good teachers. She was such an amazing mom to all my friends.

Ginger is survived by her mother, Helen Blomberg; Daughter, Kelly (Mike) Charbonneau of Calgary, Canada; sisters, Connie Aaberg of Billings, and Carolyn McKay; Brother, Leland Blomberg both of Great Falls; and two grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clifford Blomberg.
