November 9, 1935 ~ December 19, 2014 (age 79) 79 Years Old

James “Jim” Keith Lowe, 79 of Great Falls, an Air Force retiree passed peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2014 of natural causes. A Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00am in The Rose Room Chapel at Croxford Funeral Home.

James was born on November 9, 1935 in Kensal, North Dakota to Samuel Lowe and Nellie Ableidinger.

He attended North Dakota State University where he met the love of his life, his wife Phyllis Lowe. The couple were married on June 15, 1957. After College he joined the Air Force to become a fighter pilot and after 26 years of dedicated service, retired as a Colonel. After retirement he continued to pursue his love of flying and enjoyed many years with Montana Fish and Game.

Jim enjoyed hunting, skeet shooting and the great outdoors. He didn’t have a bucket list, “I’ve done a lot of things, been a lot of places and I am content to enjoy every day in beautiful Montana with my wonderful wife, family and great friends.”

Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years Phyllis of Great Falls; sons, Steve Lowe of Fort Worth, TX. Mike Lowe of Fremont, CA; daughter, Julie (Michael) Martin and 2 grandchildren, Bridger & Skyler all of Shelby, MT. He is also survived by; his brothers, Sam Lowe of AZ, Tom Lowe of TX; sisters, Darleen Schultz and Marilee Lasch both of AZ.
